Becky and Chris interview Will Storr about his book. Will Storr V's the super natural.

“It’s seems every where you look in the world there is a problem. We are at a turning point in our evolution, where if something doesn’t change we will kill ourselves or the planet.

The world is crying out for healing, but too many need it, to give it. Even the tree huggers can’t find a tree that doesn’t need a hug!

The world needs a voice of guidance to hear a new prospective, a different way to think with out fear. To find one vibration that can become the rhythm for all, to have one point of love that we can all agree on, to bring the peace we need. This radio show is a part of that one vibration. A place where healing can be found”.

Becky Walsh

Becky was born with her gifts and has been working as a psychic medium for many years.

She worked previously as a theatre stage-manager predominantly on West End musicals. Working backstage was her career until she was put into the spotlight herself, bringing through messages from people who have crossed over. As Becky has in the past been a stand up comic, she calls herself 'The Stand-Up Medium' and regularly does live shows with 'The power of three'.

Becky unveils the world of the psychic and paranormal, normally shrouded in mystery, and wants to show people a different prospective of life's troubles. Becky believes everyone has psychic ability, and would like to empower people with their own skills. She teaches Psychic Development courses at The College of Psychic Studies in London.  Her workshops have been produced by Spirit and Destiny magazine, Alternatives, Piccadilly and in Hong Kong for Reflections.

With a fascination with the paranormal, she has become an expert in most subjects in this field. Becky is excited to be given the opportunity to blend these skills with The Psychic Show on LBC 97.3. This is the first time a show has been presented by a psychic medium, thus making the mind of a medium accessible.

The Psychic Show
LBC, 10pm
Just in case you were wondering, LBC is London’s entertaining and engaging commercial speech radio channel….And before all you Mansizer’s who live north of Watford cry foul, throw you hands in the air and complain you can’t receive LBC, well you can! From September 6th, LBC was made available on DAB digital radio in the North East, North West, Yorkshire, West Midlands and south Wales / West, as well as on SkyDigital channel 0177.

My first pick of the schedule has to be the quirky, off-the-wall and unique Psychic Show, a kind of radio version of the X-Files that attempts to explore the world of the paranormal and thus offers three hours of marvellous cult radio. Indeed I suspect I’m correct in saying this is the only radio show currently airing that is presented by a psychic medium, Becky Walsh. It all gets a bit weird and hilarious at times but thankfully Walsh has co-host Chris Hawkins to bring a balanced objective voice to the proceedings.

Hi Becky

Hope you are well. It was a real surprise to hear that the psychic show is no longer going to be on air on Friday.

I personally thought it was the best show on radio! Is there anything the listeners can do to bring it back?

Well my warmest wishes are with you. I'm sure you will be back in the media soon in some capacity - you have so much good advice and wisdom to share with us Londoners!

I just wanted to thank you so much for the Psychic show. It has brought me hours of enjoyment and inspiration... It has certainly got me thinking about my own spiritual path and making me hungry to find out more!

Good luck and take care,

Gemma x

Hi Becky Firstly i want to say thankyou, Thankyou for being you and giving so much to the world. You truely are a beautiful person. I just re-paid my subscription for podcasts as i misted your last show only to find out it is no more. I can only think that people higher up ( either yours or theirs lol ) feel it's time for things to move on. I see you have overhauled your myspace page which makes me think it was your choice. Anyhow, which ever direction you decide to leap i'm sure you will land on 2 feet! Crikey, it reminds me of a show by a dj called tank something when i was a teenager who used to give advice to suicidal people.I belive he was the first to use the sad music to read out peoples stories before introducing them on air. the one day he wasn't there. And Chris too! he was like laces to a shoe.  All the best becky Ian X

Sorry to hear about your show. But you have really big talent as a broadcaster, IMHO, and I hope it finds a worthy radio home soon. I have never heard anyone give such spot-on, QUICK psychic readings on the radio before, Becky. Plus you really ask excellent questions and hold a welcoming space for guests.

 Sending very best wishes, Rose

Dear Becky, i switched my radio on last friday and Chris was running the show, for a few moments i thought Becky will interupt soon but you didn't, i later learned that the psychic show was over................ May i just say last year my son was killed out side my house and a friend of mine said "Helene why don't you listen to Becky Walsh on the psychic show LBC it may bring you a little understanding about passing over" I took her advise since then i would listen to the program every week, i did'nt have the courage to call the show but i was intrigued with all the info you gave and the guest speakers that came to your show, i would just like to say you are one of a kind and i will dearly miss you on Friday nights....................  Please let me know if you will be on another radio show. thank you:   Helene

Can't believe the pyschic show is no longer on LBC. That was the highlight of my week and it made me examine my thoughts about a host of  things I wouldn't haver otherwise thought about about. How can I find out if you are are on another radio station regularly? G

Hello Becky,

Just a quick couple lines to say a big thank you and also to express my sadness that I can no longer listen to your show on LBC – what will I do when I’m driving home from work late on a Friday evening?!

I’ve rung your show a couple of times, once I was lucky to get through to you and the other time I had to wait a while but I was unable to hold on any longer so I had to end my call. I rang about March last year. You had a guest on who I’m sorry to say I can’t remember her name but she was apparently quite ‘in’ with Princess Diana. I’m sure you will know who I mean. Anyhow, I wanted to know if my Nan was proud of me. Now, I appreciate that you must have hundreds of people ring up and I do not expect for one minute for you to remember my call. Your guest made some comments and I couldn’t really place those however you said that my Nan was saying to ‘stop fannying about’ and to get my stomach sorted out. I remember that you seemed quite embarrassed by that expression (funnily enough, those words are quite typical of my Nan!) but you were adamant that they were her words. At the time I smiled as I could feel some closeness but couldn’t really understand anything about my stomach. Anyway, a few months later I ended up in hospital with a chronic flare up of Crohn’s Disease (inflammatory bowel disease) which I never knew I had. Strange eh?!

I guess what I am trying to say is that I’ve had a bit of a crap year, but it was nice to have a little warning from my Nan via you and also despite how awful I found it all, I always knew she was near. That gave me great comfort.

Thank you. Lucie

PS I’m normally a bit of a non-believer in all this, but not anymore x

Thank you for the many letters Chris and I have enjoyed reading. Thank you so much for them, it warms out hearts.
