to get me to this point. Having said that I have never felt fully prepared
for any great undertaking, I don't know anyone who has.
I have come to really dislike the name psychic. It comes with a large bag of 'fortune telling and frauds'. Unfortunately it is the only word available to describe what I believe to be a brain abnormality. It seems to be that I have a well developed right brain. By left brain isn't so much so, this means I am dyslexic. It's like people who loose one of the five senses will find that another sense such as there hearing will become stronger than average. We know we don't use all of the brain and I feel I have tapped into a part of the brain most people don't use. But as we all have it, I believe anyone can develop 'psychic ability' One of the other reasons as to why I hate the word Psychic, is because once someone knows what I do for a living, it is an unavoidable conversation over dinner. Talking about myself in this way bores the pants off me, it always leads to 'what to do see about me?' at some point in the conversation.
How ever on the whole my job is a great honer. I get to understand all different people and I am so blessed by being giving the chance to help people mold there life. All of us wish to be super hero's in some way to change the world. I'm no super hero, but I do get the chance to change someones world and at least I get invited out to dinner!
I most often get asked two questions over dinner:
When did I know I had psychic ability?
Does it help me in my own life?
As a child it must have been annoying to play some games with me, such as Blind Mans Buff or snap. So I learnt to hide it. The only one who really knew was my brother. There are so many memories of things that happened, which I can look back and think how other people must have found things odd. One mother stopped her child playing with me, and informed my mother I was spooky. You can see why I had to hide it.
Being Psychic has helped in my own life. But I am here to learn lessons as much as everyone else, so I don't get help on everything, other wise it would be cheating. It also affects others around me, for an example a partner of mine once said "just because your psychic it doesn't give you the right to tell me what I'm thinking!"
I
found I had a love of the Theatre. Not wanting to live an Actors life I worked
back stage and became a Stage Manager. It's been a brilliant time, making
it possible for me to work all over the world: Sydney Opera House, The Hong
Kong Handover to China. I worked in the West End for many years. It gives
me the opportunity to do readings for many well-known faces. I co-wrote and
performed a one woman show, I've done Stand up Comedy which I have turned into the stand up psychic show. I love to travel
and have been all over the world, doing readings in Pakistan and Hong Kong.
Life has it's ups and downs and I've had a few downs which I am most grateful for, it seems to me that I have learnt the most from those times. It's made me stronger as a person.
My Mission
There is a mission behind my work. Which is why I am happy to work in the media and get this message out to as many people as possible. This message isn't one of the truth that psychics are for real, it's up to you what you think. My mission is to show people they can live with out fear. To live with out fear is to put the ego to better use and live within your higher self. The higher self is a place of love. It is letting go of fear and moving into the vibration of love that will liberate us from all the horrors we have created in the world. I believe our thoughts lets out a vibration that brings our reality into being. If you can think with out fear then we can have the most amazing life experience. I'm not saying I am an expert in my own life, but the aim is enough. By being in the vibration of love you tune others to do the same. This is the real message of spirituality. You don't judge others for being none spiritual, for to do so would be fearful and dense in vibration. You just sing your song with out fear and you liberate others to do the same. To be psychic is to be in tune with others energy, when you can hear others tune, you can't do anything else but love them. As you realise when we all sing in love, we sing the same song.
