There is a slight danger when Psychics predict the future. As a Psychic I am in a good position to say all this. It's something that comes up time and time again with my clients. They are told some bad news about the future and they spend time worrying about it. In some cases it stays with them for most of their life. For example, a girl of 19 was told that she would be obese by the time she was 30. At 35 this girl was still looking slim; in fact I had seen more fat on a chip, and that was a French-fry! There is an argument that if the Reader hadn't said this then the girl would have been over weight. This is just one example. Indeed the same can be said about any news good or bad. What if you were told that you would not meet the partner of your dreams until you were 50? Would you not date anyone until then?
I am often asked to give a description of the person my client will settle down with. If I give this description, my client may turn down the very person that was right for them in the right now! We meet, learn, change and grow with people. Maybe the person in the right now was vital for the personality change to make them compatible with the partner of their dreams. To see love coming for some is to stand in the middle of the road as the truck of love comes speeding towards you. If all you have known is hurt, that's what you are expecting, to recognize your true love before you know them, is to give you a head start to turn and run. Having said all this I still give a description of personality and temperament for the right person for right now, and confirmation that we are never alone. But what is being said when we say we can see the future?
I don't believe the future is preordained or set in stone in any way. From the way I understand it from spirit and indeed many books I have read confirm, that before we are born to this earth we are spirit. We existed before we arrived here and will continue to exist after we have passed on. We have spirit guides to assist us on our path. But what is meant by our path?
Our path is lessons we have to learn. Our spirit guides have an understanding of what lessons we need to further our development. Developing into what I don't know. Enlightenment? Maybe. But I am happy for now just to know I am learning. These lessons move us forward though life times. Maybe we even mapped out our lessons with our spirit guide before we arrived.
I believe our guides have knowledge of our future and indeed in readings if I ask, Spirit can give me insight in the form of pictures or just an understanding. But they don't always find it appropriate to the persons learning to do so. Tarot cards and other divination tools can also do the same. However, the information given is always based on the path the client is on at that time. The smallest event can change that path (See the film, "Sliding Doors"). Therefore I think it is very important for a reader to explain that any information about the future is based on the path followed at the moment. Of course the reader is then inviting a headache; after all, there could be several paths based on choices that the client may want looking at. "If I do this will X happen? If I do that will Y happen?"
Spirit doesn't always give advice for us to have the easiest ride. They give advice for the lessons we need to learn. It's how we handle the opportunities before us. We can give ourselves an easier time by worrying less and letting everything unfold as it should. Control is an illusion, but one we like to cling on to. One of the greatest gifts we were ever given was the gift of choice. The best way to use a reading is as informed choice.
Readings are valuable; they can put your mind at rest, and arm you with what you need to make decisions for yourself. But the responsibility to make your future great, is always with you.
