Education

Photo of cat meditatingDoes everyone have Psychic ability?

I am often asked when did I know I had Psychic ability. As a child I just thought it was normal, and I still do. It's everyone else that finds it odd!

There are a few memories of times when coincidences happened in a most amazing way. I now know that there are really no such things as coincidences. When moments of synchronicity occur, they highlight something that is part of our learning. Our learning is increased by our ability to recognize these moments. The more we ignore these moments, the harder we make our lives, as each lesson takes that much longer to learn.

For years I blocked out spirit communication. I plainly wasn't ready. Not in terms of ability, but personally. I had to go though many varied experiences to have a chance to guess what this life was about, never mind the next life or past lives. I needed that life experience also to be a good reader. Maturity seems to be important but does not determine the ability to discern information for people from Spirit. However, the lines on my face seem to convince people that I know what I'm talking about. 'No-one trusts a young gynecologist!'

I am talking about a natural ability, which can be shaped by education and life. I believe everyone has psychic ability. Like every other skill, we need to learn how to use it to make it strong. Whatever ability you have, I can teach you how to gain in confidence and clarity to help understand and trust what information you get from spirit.

I myself have undergone a lot of education to strengthen my natural ability. I have been a student at many places but the greatest teacher is life itself. It's easy to watch out of a window for hours, and not really notice what you're looking at. This is true of life; everything fits very easily into what we expect to see. You don't always notice what is there!

I am sometimes asked where people who have psychic ability can get some help, education and training. So here's a history of the education I have undergone therefore I can recommend it. There are many other places you could go to that are maybe just as good.

I was trained in Grief counseling and motivation therapy by The Healthy Options Team. At the time I was working with people with Drug related HIV. The counseling training is a must for anyone who whats to work giving consultations.

I also took a short psychosynthesis course with: www.psychosynthesis.edu

From the web site of the centre I studied with 'Psychosynthesis is concerned with the realisation of individual and collective potential and the harmonisation of all elements of the personality.
The first step is the attainment of a certain level of self-knowledge, and the techniques used help to understand the different parts of our psyche and how to integrate them.

Among the therapeutic methods used are creative visualisation, free drawing, the training of the will, physical expression, writing, meditation, interpersonal and group work'.

I would also have read an unhealthy amount of self help books, to take as many little gems of wisdom from them as possible.

I took a course in Psychic development with Avril Price. Then Mediumship with Anthony Kesner in the intermediate class I was moved up into the advanced class for my first platform demo (the only one in the class to be moved up! This was a big thing for me after being dyslexic at school!). I then join the advanced class next term. A term in Past Lives (Regression) with Sally Sampson. I also attended a workshop in Mediumship Trance with Robin Winbow and again with Tony Stockwell and also Spirit release (Negative spirits) with Sue Allen. More trance study with Elizabeth Roberts level two group.

Higher levels of Mediumship at Arthur Findlay College five day residential course. This is a most beautiful place to study at. You work from 9.00am to 9.00pm. At the end you get an accreditation, very much like a reading, which lets you know your strengths and weakness'. A very valuable week. As part of the course I studied Circle Work, Mediumship (till I was still talking to them in my sleep!), Public Inspirational speaking, Sitting in the power, Readings from Colour, Philosophy of Spiritualism and Experimental Mediumship. 2003 Trance Mediumship with: Glyn Edwards, Steven Upton, Mathew Smith, Libby Clark and Eileen Davis. Learning about the levels of Trance control and Physical Mediumship phenomena.
