Psychics Paul, Michael and Becky count some famous faces among their clients. Here they tell a few of their secrets...
“I’ve always had spirit guides”
Becky Walsh, 32, has used spirit guides to tap into her powers since childhood. After working in theatre, she’s now a full-time psychic based in London, and uses tarot and psychometry - by reading jewellery.
“Celebrities are often in precarious professions and having a reading gives them clarity, focus and perspective. A common concern is whether a relationship they’re about to embark on will work out. Because they’re always in the press, they’re concerned that if it doesn’t work, it’ll get into the papers and they won’t be able to handle the fallout emotionally. So they’ll say to themselves ‘Let’s go and see Becky to see if I can stop these things happening.’
“It can be daunting when you really respect the person. Once, I did a reading for a woman who was in EastEnders and I soon realised I was thinking of her as the character she played!
“My psychic abilities have always been there, and I’ve always had spirit guides. When I was about seven, I was at a friend’s for a sleepover. I said something to her mother about an argument she’d had with her husband, which I couldn’t have known about any other way. She frogmarched me home - I was still in my pyjamas - and when we got to my house, she said to my mum ‘I don’t want your daughter playing with my daughter any more, because your daughter is, well, spooky!’
So I learned to hide my abilities - if I didn’t, my friends wouldn’t play games with me. Believe me, blind man’s buff and snap are no fun when you’re psychic. When I was a teenager, my friends came to me for advice, and my abilities came in handy when it came to boys. I always knew where the one I fancied was hanging out.
“I’ve been with my boyfriend James, 29, for a year and a half. As I’ve grown older, I’ved learned not to use my abilities to find out if a relationship will work. It bites you on the bum in the end!”
